- Basic monitoring: uptime pings & essential security alerts
- Backups: verify presence/rotation and spot-check monthly
- Performance hygiene: caching headers, DB autoloads, images/WebP where feasible
- Monthly summary (updates applied, findings, short recommendations)
- Support SLA for maintenance issues (8×5)
Cadence
- Weekly: minor updates & health checks
- Monthly: consolidated update cycle & concise summary
Workflow
- Pre-check of compatibility/risk
- Apply updates off-peak (direct or light staging if needed)
- Verify key flows (login, forms, search, Woo checkout where applicable)
- Summarize changes & recommendations
Limits & exclusions
- Does not include full staging → verification → rollback workflow or backup test restores (see Enhanced)
- Major upgrades, theme rewrites, new features/UX are quoted separately
- Malware cleanup/incident response is a separate service (WP Emergency Triage)
